On Friday the 13th, went to town to pick up all the rubbish that was on Commercial Street to Derrick Road to Albert Street to help save the environment. We started by walking down the road to the park and picked up a few bits of rubbish. We then met up with a man from the northern advocate who would take photos of us picking up rubbish. We walked through commercial street picking up a lot of beer cans and bottles, even some shoes and an ignition . We walked all the way to the end of Kawakawa Primary School. We then walked back through town to the dairy to get a feed. We then spent a bit at the park and played there for a while. It was pretty fun and it was cool, mostly at the end.

Hi there Rome, my name is Franky and I am a year 6 at Paihia School. I liked how you have the photos and writing in different spaces on the post, I haven’t seen that layout before, it was great. It’s so great to see more people out cleaning the streets and making New Zealand beautiful. Last Friday we did our beach clean up and found about three bags worth of rubbish. How many bags of rubbish do you think you collected? If you want you can check out my blog at http://psfrankys.blogspot.com/.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work.
Bye.
Hey Rome! It's Mia your bestest friend in the universe commenting on your blog right now. I LOVE how your class thought about how dirty New Zealand was and decided to clean it. About a year ago our whole school went out and cleaned most of Kawakawa and there was a lucky find, we found a countdown trolley. Anyways if you would like to check out my learning please copy and paste this URL into google and rome around my blog. See you around buddy!
